Providers of internet infrastructure services are under pressure to play a greater role in policing online content and participation. This is a dangerous trend that must end now.

The Kiwi Farms is currently up and running fine. If you are a customer of CenturyLink/Qwest and you cannot connect to the Kiwi Farms, you should complain to them. I am receiving reports that CentryLink/Qwest customers are unable to access the site.
Your options are:
1) Change provider.
2) Complain until they fix it.
3) Use a VPN or Tor.
P.S. Support NetNeutrality.
Qwest customers in the EU may contact BEREC. Their decision to blackhole traffic likely violates the EU's Net Neutrality.

I've received multiple reports that T-Mobile and its subsidiaries (such as MetroPCS) are also prohibiting their customers from accessing 1776 Hosting's network. If you are effected, you should directly complain to your provider. You are the one being restricted.
Edit: If you are affected, google how to traceroute and provide me the results to <jcmoon@pm.me> - the command will take a minute, it is:

Arelion, the last tier 1 providing us transit, has given in to the terroristic harassment. The Internet has been broken wide open and the message is clear: if you want something online censored, go after the families of ISP executives. This is in violation of EU Net Neutrality laws, but that doesn't mean anything right now.
I'm currently traveling and can't say much else today. You are witnessing a historic moment and this has never happened before with a US legal website.
Edit: You can use Tor or a VPN, since most VPNs will not need T1 transit to get to our Datacenters because they're also housed there. -
The following ISPs are either rejecting our announcement or blackholing our routes (103.114.19.0/24). This is unprecedented without court order. We are a legal site being blocked by massive corporations, in violation of European Net Neutrality.
* Lumen (a/k/a CenturyLink, Qwest, Level 3) (Tier 1)
* GTT (Tier 1)
* Arelion (Tier 1)
* Zayo (Tier 1)
* Voxility
It's the Christmas Season and there's limited options. VPNs (particularly from Amsterdam) will work. Tor will work. I will keep the site available as I can.
After New Years, if this is not resolved, I will declare 𝕿𝖔𝖙𝖆𝖑 𝕽𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖗𝖉 𝖂𝖆𝖗. The digital equivalents of the post office are refusing us the most fundamental levels of infrastructure simply because they do not want to deal with complaint volume. So, we will complain louder.
If we don't undo this damage, then the first nail is in the coffin for free speech online. Without hyperbole, they have established a surefire way to remove any website from the Internet and every ISP will have to deal with direct, personal harassment because they have proven IT WORKS.
If you are in these companies, you must vocally renounce this decision.
if you are in the industry and have connections, you must vigorously reject this.
If you are a direct customer, you must complain to them, and you must complain to the FCC (US) and BEREC (EU).

And if that doesn't work in short order, I will reach out to the media. The ordinary person opposed to the status quo needs to understand how unbelievably fucking insidious this is. It will absolutely happen to alternative media sources very soon. They're already lining up their next targets.
Do you want 𝓣𝓸𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓡𝓮𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓦𝓪𝓻? -
CenturyLink has responded to the FCC explaining that they refuse to perform their role as a Tier 1 ISP due to unspecified AUP violations.
Anyone in the industry should avoid the companies Qwest, CenturyLink, Lumen (formerly Level 3).
If you are a consumer level customer of this ISP, you should leave and indicate to them that this response was unsatisfactory and you do not wish to patronize a business actively destroying the Internet. - 23 December 2022 (2 messages)

Small update: We are online because we are now on a fifth Tier 1 provider. I am still getting word that currently pro-censorship ISPs may flip back, but CenturyLink is doubling down and should be avoided by anyone in the industry.
Edit: Starlink customers are reporting they cannot access the site. This is because Starlink seems to use GTT, which (along with CenturyLink/Lumen) is blackholing traffic. If you are affected by this, complain to Starlink as a customer. -
I've been informed GTT is now routing traffic from downstream ISPs such as Starlink. Only Lumen/CenturyLink is blackholing now.

The 502 errors are the result of an intermittent DoS attack, sorry. I'm not able to address it at the moment.
Merry Christmas, and sorry for the disruptions. - 25 December 2022 (1 messages)

Mitigated attack by bringing up backup HaltDOS at the cost of availability (HaltDOS was not set up on the server routing most traffic so I have simply turned it off). Will do more work when it's not 1am on Christmas day and I'm not slightly drunk on eggnog.
Once again, Merry Christmas to everybody. - 26 December 2022 (1 messages)

The attack is still ongoing and I'm weighing my options for mitigating it. There's some third-party offers but I'd like to inhouse. For now, I've moved us to the haproxy-protection by Thomas Lynch from Fatchan which has been protecting our Tor node for months.
Liz Fong-Jones has been working on a way of busting this proof-of-work system. I don't know if this work has been rolled out to a botnet yet. He is still sending complaints to upstreams basically every day from his work email.
I'm considering of developing a more robust anti-bot library in Rust using haproxy as a webserver.
The patch sale is still running btw. I'm going to order more sets, so you'll have to wait a bit but you've not missed out.
That's your status update for today. Hope you all had a merry Christmas! - 27 December 2022 (1 messages)

Right now they're exploiting something in the anti-bot check itself to slow the site down tremendously. The server we have that's connected to GTT is one of the weakest, and it can't really keep up with all the attack traffic.
If you change countries on your VPN away from North America, or use Tor, you may have better luck.
Part of why they're doing this is that the anti-bot checks excludes search engine bots. Troons really want shit like "consent accident" to stay off search results for their name, so just keeping the bot check page up is a part of their ambitions. - 28 December 2022 (1 messages)

DDoS attack is still ongoing. I can see them tweaking it in real time. I will be traveling until the start of the new year. My ability to deal with it is very limited.
Sorry lads. There's a group of people with free license to break whatever laws they want, defame whoever they want, harass whoever they want, and we have to play with a severe handicap. - 31 December 2022 (1 messages)
